The bigger the project, the harder it is to finish. Not because there is more work, but because of the overwhelming sense of accomplishment when the bulk of the work is done. It is so easy to walk away at that point. Those last little details just don’t call to you or offend your eye so much, when you look at your project. Instead you see all you’ve done so far, and how great it looks compared to when you started. So go ahead and congratulate yourself on that major effort, and then sit down and get back to it. You will feel even better when you touch the finished product and know in your heart what a wondrous thing you have done.
